Recent Maryland car accident: 3-car crash caused by SU
When individuals are the victims of vehicle accidents, the effects may be life altering. The injuries suffered, whether they are temporary or permanent, may result in those individuals not being able to work in the short term or ever again. In a serious car accident, the medical bills may become insurmountable, particularly when an individual does not have sufficient health care coverage.
A three-vehicle accident occurred recently near Pittsville, Maryland State Police said. The incident occurred on a recent Saturday night in late August. Just before 6 p.m., troopers arrived at the scene of the accident, which occurred on Route 50.
A woman who had been traveling westbound on Interstate 50 said that an SUV entered an intersection only around 50 feet in front of her. She immediately attempted to brake to avoid crashing into the vehicle, but the SUV collided with a third vehicle in the westbound lane of traffic. The third vehicle slid across the road and ended up in a ditch, while the SUV spun around and then collided with the first vehicle. All of the drivers and passengers in all three vehicles were rushed to a regional medical center for treatment, police said. The accident remains under investigation.
After a car accident, it is typical for an individual involved to have pressing questions about what happens next. If an experienced Maryland personal injury attorney is consulted, he or she can answer most of these questions while helping a client to understand the available options. If his or her legal representation is retained, the attorney will then examine every aspect of the accident so that the strongest case possible can be built while helping the victim navigate the sometimes challenging adjustment to the physical harm and losses he or she may have suffered.
