Recent Maryland car accident: 2 seriously injured
When a driver in Maryland becomes the victim of a serious automobile crash, the effects may be life altering. Sometimes the injuries are temporary, while others are permanent. Either way, they could result in the individual having to take extended time off away from work or even never return to work again if the injuries are serious enough. Besides lost pay, medical bills as a result of a serious car accident can become seemingly insurmountable very quickly.
A serious car accident recently occurred in College Park, Maryland. Police say the accident occurred on a late Sunday night in September. Police say that a 31-year-old woman was rear-ended by another 31-year-old woman. Both suffered serious injuries as a result.
Police say the crash, which took place on the Beltway of I-495, say the woman who rear-ended the other driver was at fault. They believe that alcohol and/or drugs may have played a part in the collision. However, they also stated that this aspect of the crash is still currently under investigation. Both women were rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Under the facts reported regarding this serious car accident, a personal injury suit appears to be an appropriate option for the victim. The claim, which could be filed in a Maryland civil court, would be against the driver believed to have been a fault. Attorneys experienced in personal injury lawsuits are often consulted to help with the process of evaluating, preparing and litigating personal injury claims regarding serious motor vehicle accidents.
