Recent Maryland car accident: 1 killed in 2-vehicle collision

Around 6 p.m., the motorcycle was reportedly headed southbound when — for reasons that are currently still unknown — a vehicle in the northbound lane initiated a left-hand turn onto a westbound road and into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist died at the scene, while the other driver, a 64-year-old woman from Silver Spring, was uninjured. This accident is still under investigation.
