Recent Maryland car accident: 1 killed, 2 injured in crash

Countless numbers of Americans are involved in car crashes every year. Of those countless accidents, thousands die. The crash was discovered around 3 a.m. that morning when police came across an overturned vehicle in a forest next to a highway’s onramp. The driver, a 45-year-old Laurel man, and another passenger were rushed to a regional hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The other passenger, a 44-year-old Laurel man, was discovered dead at the scene of the accident. The state police are still investigating the cause of the crash, but they said that a contributing factor may have been driver impairment.
