Hit-and-run accident victim’s family chooses to speak out

Two victims had stopped at the intersection to assess damages their respective vehicles had suffered due to being involved in a minor fender bender, when a truck that was traveling in the same lane of traffic struck one of them and then proceeded to drive off. According to police, the suspect had gotten out to see if everyone was okay, only to hop back in his vehicle to flee when police arrived. The driver turned himself in later that day and police say charges are pending.
