According to that investigation, a pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Hughesville man crossed the local road’s centerline. It then collided with another pickup truck, driven by a 56-year-old Brandywine woman.
Both drivers were rushed to the trauma center of a hospital in Maryland via helicopter. According to the preliminary investigation, both speed and failure to drive right of the centerline are considered to be contributing factors.
