2 injured in crash; 1 suffered traumatic brain injury

A traffic collision can have a major impact on the financial, emotional and physical well-being of a victim and his or her family. The first victim was in a coma for a month as a result of the traumatic brain injury. The second victim suffered several broken ribs, broken vertebrae, a punctured lung and a lacerated kidney. The Nevada woman was sentenced in a county court and is set to serve at least five years before she becomes eligible for parole.
